Hiroyuki Kiyohara

Dr Hiroyuki Kiyohara joined ERIA in April 2026 as a Programme Manager for Health Development and Policy in the Healthcare Unit. Originally trained as a dentist, he is a global health professional with broad experience across ASEAN and Sub-Saharan Africa. He has worked with government bodies, development partners, clinicians, NGOs, academic institutions, and international organisations, including WHO and UNAIDS.
Beyond project implementation, his work also encompasses research across a diverse range of health system–related topics, including in vitro diagnostics, health information among migrant populations, the health workforce, and the carbon footprint of food consumption.
