Ibrahim Naufal joined ERIA in March 2026 as a Research Associate in the Economics Unit. Prior to joining ERIA, he worked as an Expert Assistant at Kappa Idea Nusantara, supporting senior experts in delivering consulting projects related to Indonesia’s energy sector.

He also interned at the Office of the Chief Economist at PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk., where he monitored global and domestic macroeconomic developments and contributed to internal economic analysis. At NielsenIQ, he served as a Customer Success Analyst intern, supporting client projects through data analysis and business insights derived from consumer panel data. Prior to that, he was a Research Assistant intern at IFG Progress, assisting with economic research projects, including data preparation and analysis using economic modelling tools.
