Dr Jordan Holbrook joined ERIA in September 2025 as a Digital Innovation and Sustainable Economy Economist. He is an applied microeconomist specialising in labour economics, health economics, and applied econometrics. His research leverages data science and machine learning methods to construct novel datasets and generate evidence to inform policy-relevant questions in the labour, health, and digital economies.

Before joining ERIA, Dr Holbrook completed his PhD in Economics at the University of Houston. Beyond academia, he worked as a data scientist in healthcare analytics, developing econometric and machine learning models to identify high-quality, cost-effective healthcare providers.
