Vu Thi Ngoc Ha joined ERIA in June 2026 as a Policy Analyst. She works with the Energy Unit and the Asia Zero Emission Center (AZEC), focusing on ASEAN energy policy, particularly in the areas of energy transition, decarbonisation, and carbon markets.

She is seconded from Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc. (MRI), a leading Tokyo-based think tank and consultancy. At MRI, she serves as a researcher in the Green Transformation Division and the Global Strategy Division, providing policy insights on climate change and supporting the commercialisation of emerging decarbonisation technologies.

Ha holds a Master of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Oxford and a Master of Economics and Business Administration from the University of Nagoya.
