The ERIA Annual Report 2025 reflects how the organisation navigated a year marked by intensifying geopolitical tensions, unilateral tariff measures, economic fragmentation, and growing energy security challenges across ASEAN and East Asia. Against this backdrop, ERIA strengthened its role as a trusted policy partner, supporting the ASEAN Geoeconomics Task Force and key Priority Economic Deliverables, including work on semiconductor supply chains, the Digital Economy Framework Agreement, and ASEAN–GCC cooperation. The report also highlights ERIA’s contributions to advancing climate action, energy transition, healthcare, food security, and human resource development through its specialised units and the Asia Zero Emission Center. In addition, it showcases ERIA’s expanding engagement with the business community and its continued institutional transformation from a think tank into a do-tank, delivering practical solutions and policy implementation support in pursuit of a more resilient, integrated, and forward-looking region.
