About ERIA

Academic Advisory Council

The Academic Advisory Council is composed of a number of internationally renowned East Asia Summit countries' scholars and experts from universities, research institutions, the private sector, international organisations and non-governmental organisations.

The Council provides advice and support to the President on following matters:

  • Advice on the direction of research program;
  • Review and evaluation of the performance of ERIA as requested by the President from time to time;
  • At the request of the President, provide academic strategic advice and input on other matters deemed appropriate to be consulted with the Council.
