Market Enablers play a crucial role in ensuring that decarbonisation technologies are properly assessed and are able to attract sustainable investment. Many low-carbon technologies, while promising, remain technically less mature and are not yet cost-competitive compared to existing solutions. To accelerate their development and deployment, it is essential to coordinate market structures that support their assessment and make them more attractive for investment. This pillar focuses on areas such as green and transition finance, as well as the establishment of carbon markets, to address these challenges.
