Manufacturing and heavy industries are amongst the largest sources of emissions in ASEAN and are closely tied to economic growth and export competitiveness. The adoption of energy-efficient equipment offers an immediate and effective opportunity to reduce emissions. Given Asia's significant energy-saving potential, the region stands to benefit considerably from technological advancements in this area.
