Asia Zero Emission Center

Impact by EV penetration in Cambodia by GDE/MME, Cambodia
Project Overview
This study aims to establish an online data portal for ASEAN covering conventional, new, and alternative road vehicle technologies. The primary objective is to provide comprehensive and accessible information on the current state of vehicle technology development across ASEAN member states, as well as to present an outlook for the future road vehicle market in the region.
The data and insights generated will be crucial for policymakers as they design strategies and policy measures to decarbonise the transport sector.
In addition, the database will serve as a foundation for developing road transport models for ASEAN countries. These models will enable forecasting of:
- the dynamics of the regional vehicle fleet,
- the evolution of final energy consumption, and
- the associated emissions and air pollution from the transport sector.
